Hello all!
We knocked into a Hindu lady this week, and it just so happened we knocked into her on the last day of their holiday, which is equivalent to Christmas. I forgot the name of the holiday but it starts with a D. She gave us some Indian snacks. One of them was like spicy potato sticks, and one was like a nut and citrus ball. Hard to explain.
I found out this week that my companion is cousins with one of my best friends in high school. We were meant to be companions!
We went to specialized training this week for missionaries that are being trained and their trainers. It was a pretty good training. It was at the D.C Temple visitor center. We roleplayed teaching using the exhibits at the V.C
We are now teaching 3 people named Robert and they all live in the same area. It is an interesting pattern. Whenever we tract in that area now, we are just going to ask, "Is Robert here?"
We are teaching a pregnant lady who lives in the middle of the woods. She just found out she is having twins. So we brought her cookies!
There is a lady living in a rehab center in our ward, and we went by to visit her, and her two young grandkids were there, and her grandkids were in my last ward, so it was nice to see them again.
There is a family in the ward that has been recently reactivated and they are working on being sealed in the Temple, so we are working with them on that! They also live in the middle of the woods.
Today is Callouts which means we will find out who is moving to a new area and who is getting a new companion. I will probably not move or get a new companion!
